Choose the Right WordPress AdSense Themes to Increase CTR

Providing quality content to Internet users is one of the major requirements of Google if you are going to use AdSense…

WordPress is a popular blog platform and for good reasons. It’s darn simple for newbies yet powerful enough for advanced users. Installation is a breeze and you can practically set it up in less than 5 minutes. When it comes to monetizing your blog of course nothing beats Google AdSense. Whether you are a newbie or an experienced marketer, AdSense is so simple yet so profitable and effective. You just have to paste the code anywhere in your WordPress template, and AdSense will do the rest to match the ads with your content.

Now, in order for you to make money with your blog or Website, people will have to click the ads without you telling them. This is known as the click through rate (CTR) and the higher it gets, the more you bank. So, how do you exactly increase your CTR? There is no definite answer to this question. You have to conduct your own experiments, learn from the experience of others or know the pulse of your readers and make the necessary adjustments until you arrive with the final layout.

One very common mistake that most internet marketers or blog publishers commit is to place the ad units on areas that don’t appear natural to the readers. Keep in mind that you have to blend the ads with respect to your theme. AdSense allows you to change the ad’s color and font, so you might as well do that. For instance, using a large skyscraper above the navigation area may add beauty to your site. The question is do your readers actually click on it? Probably not, because majority of today’s readers already know that it’s only an ad.

People use a search engine such as Google to find the information they need and when they arrive at your site, they’ll instantly look for it. As soon as they’re done, either they leave your site or spend a little while exploring it. Will they be able to notice your ads? Depending on your AdSense WordPress Themes being used, probably not if those ads are located faraway from your content.

The right ad placement is therefore, crucial if you want to increase your chances of enticing them to click the ads. Successful internet marketers have known this for a while that’s why they’re embedding their links inside the content itself. It will look like as if part of the solution that people are looking for and not just another ad. Also, it’s going to be a smart move if you place an ad in the footer of your article.

The default WordPress theme isn’t good enough in maximizing your CTR. You can either install another WordPress theme or tweak it. All the same, don’t stop experimenting which layout performs best. Remember that different sites will have different visitors and all of them will react differently. This will be a problem if you don’t know anything about programming or html codes.
